Are you a retail superstar?

Do you have retail experience, have a passion for children's products, enjoy selling and love building customer relationships?  Are you creative, energetic, fast working and can work independently?

We are looking for for a permanent part time sales person to join our team.

Position available - Retail Sales person

2 days per week Thursday and Friday hours 9:00am - 4:30pm permanent
and one Saturday a month 9:00am - 2:00pm

Start date asap

There is an opportunity to increase these hours and some flexibility during the busy months would be appreciated.

This role is is ideally suited to someone who has retail experience and enjoys engaging with our customers and is comfortable around children.
You must also have an eye for organisation, be self motivated, happy to use a duster and a talent for merchandising would be a bonus!

Responsibilities include

  • customer service and sales
  • building and maintaining relationships with our customers
  • confidently offer advice on our products 
  • processing transactions through our computer system
  • gift wrapping
  • processing web orders 
  • merchandising
  • unpacking stock
  • keeping the shop tidy and clean - light cleaning duties

Required Skills

  • previous retail or customer service experience
  • be outgoing and engaging with a focus on sales
  • enjoy the challenges of a retail environment
  • confident using a computer - Apple OS 
  • be confident, take initiative and work efficiently
